This is fast track program for those who are planning to sell goods and services over the internet. This is no-nonsense program that uses:

• Microsoft Visual InterDev as a Development tool
• Microsoft Visual Basic Scripting Edition or some other scripting language
• Active X Data Objects (ADO) for accessing a local database
• SQL queries, record sets, and cursors
• HTML
• Data Source Name (DSN)
• SQL and Microsoft NT security

 

Course Duration: One week, Monday - Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Constructing a site: Show how to use Site Foundation Wizard and Site Builder Wizard to create a new site.

Enhancing the Product Catalog: Shows how to modify a wizard-generated site and use ADO to display product information.

Managing a Shopping Cart: Shows how to manage a shopping cart and implement up sell promotion.

Processing Orders: Shows hoe to create an order processing pipeline by using the plan template.

Checking out the Purchase Process: Shows how to use Purchase template of the Order Processing Pipeline and secure financial transactions.

Tracking Shopper Information: Shows how to track shoppers by using cookies and a registration database.

Implementing Business to Business Commerce: Shows how to track orders from business partners
