Our Mission

The mission of Princeton Information Technology Center is to provide high quality, cutting-edge post-secondary education. We strive to develop leaders who will provide innovation and service for the wellbeing of our community. Our commitment is to deliver education (relevant to the market demands) that equips students for success and for lifelong learning. The mission is achieved by providing career-orientated instruction and facilities that fulfills the desired goals of our students. The objectives are as follows:

  1. To offer high quality education to meet the employment demands of the market place.
  2. To provide resources to excel in educational pursuits.
  3. To cultivate the habit of critical thinking in students to effectively service their clients.
  4. To instill leadership endeavor by challenging the students for creative solutions.

PITC has emerged as a high performing school in Practical Nursing in our area. We are now admitting our eleventh class in Practical Nurse program. Our graduates have been employed at well known hospitals and long-term care facilities and they are performing well.

PITC provides an excellent opportunity to start a career in nursing. Graduates are eligible to sit for NCLEX-PN after graduation from the Practical Nurse Program for the purpose of licensure. We offer one year (full-time) program, or in 18 months (part-time) program. We invite you to inquire about the opportunity we present.

Institutional History

Princeton Information Technology Center was licensed by Pennsylvania Board of Private Licensed Schools in Aug. 1998. Prior to that the parent institution Princeton Resource Associates, Inc., founded by Dr. Shahid Ahmed, was providing consulting and computer training to corporations since 1994. From the inception, PITC was focused on the cutting-edge technology, in the areas of databases, programming, web development, and networking. PITC became a Microsoft Solution Provider in 1998, then became an Oracle Alliance Partner, Siebel Alliance Partner, and Compaq Alliance Partner in 1999.

Since 2004, PITC has made a strategic shift to emphasize Allied Health. PITC started to offer Nursing Assistant program in 2004 and had the Practical Nurse program licensed by the PA Board of Nursing in 2005.
