Healthcare: We are currently providing a Practical Nurse program. We have very qualified instructors with Ph.D., Masters, and Bachelors degrees, and a fully equipped laboratory for nurse training. We have recently expanded our facilities to provide an upgraded environment for our students, teachers, and administration. See Practical Nurse Program below. Our Practical Nursing Program has Full Approval from the PA Board of Nursing.

Practical Nurse Program: The full-time, 12-month program begins on September 7, 2010. Classes are 8:00AM-3:00PM Monday through Friday. After the first 3 months, clinicals are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and can be either 7:00AM-3:00PM or 3:00PM-11:00PM. The part-time, 20-month program begins on October 25, 2010. Classes are 5:00PM-10:00PM Tuesday through Thursday. After the first 18 weeks, clinicals are Mondays from 5:00PM-11:00PM and alternate weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from 7:00AM-4:00PM.

Application forms are available on-line or at the school (the application fee is $50 and the entrance test fee is $40, all non-refundable). The entrance tests are taken on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursday at 11:00AM or 1:00PM. Our Practical Nurse Program is licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. At this time no online Practical Nursing classes are available. PITC is planning to offer some courses on-line, however, such programs have not yet been presented to or approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
